An environmentally sound quality assurance process

A quality assurance process based on the principles of environmental awareness and responsibility always has the highest priority at MOLTEX. The need for continuous production and product monitoring poses a challenge in this context. This involves assessing environmental and social consequences and continuously adapting them to the most recent standards. These include challenges such as reducing material consumption, optimising energy use, waste management and reducing toxic emissions in transport and logistics. Another important focus of activity is the energy management system, which offers new opportunities for energy savings, such as the use and continual upgrading of energy-efficient engines and conversion to LED lighting.

Our employees: the beating heart and driving force of Moltex

Moltex employees are naturally the beating heart and driving force of our company. We rely on a systematic, practice-oriented approach to staff development, as well as encouraging and supporting ongoing training and further education. We emphasise the importance of promoting progressive improvements in work-life balance through effective measures. It is also important for us to heighten awareness of sustainable values among our entire workforce, and we strive to set a good example. This is a process that can only be carried out together and by taking small steps. Recognition for MOLTEX nature no.1: awarded the GREEN BRANDS seal of quality for the third time in a row. GREEN BRANDS are brands that make a significant contribution to protecting nature and the environment. They are produced in an environmentally safe manner, and act consistently and responsibly in support of the conservation of natural habitats and resources and the preservation of nature and a sustainable quality of life. The seal offers consumers a reliable standard and aids in orientation when it comes to selecting products.

Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world’s best-known labels for products tested for harmful substances.

During the tests numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, which may be harmful to human health, are taken into consideration. In many cases the limit values for the STANDARD 100 exceed national and international requirements.

Babies require special protection. Accordingly, in OEKO-TEX® ‘Product class I’, baby care items are held to the strictest criteria, in line with sensitive baby skin. In addition, our products are tested and certified according to the expanded requirements of ‘Annex 6’ which is even more rigorous compared to the requirements of ‘Annex 4’.

Moltex products are tested for harmful substances according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® and no harmful substances were identified in the lab tests above the most strict limit values of product class I: articles for babies and toddlers.
